Endoscopy is the most informative and modern method of diagnosing gastrointestinal diseases.

At our clinic we perform:

• gastroscopy (endoscopic examination of the upper gastrointestinal tract): considered to be the most accurate and precise method of examining the gastrointestinal tract and makes it possible to identify even the most minor pathologies.

For this examination a gastroscope is used, which is a flexible tube with light source and camera on one end.

Colonoscopy examines the large intestine – the large intestine and distal part of the small intestine.

Our endoscopy unit performs both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including:

• biopsy;
• removal of polyps – polypectomy.

All examinations are carried out under general anesthesia, which ensures patient comfort, safety and the best working conditions for the endoscopist.
